WHAT'S MY NEXT CAREER AS A FARM STORE DELIVERY DRIVER LOOK LIKE?

Your career will be highlighted by :

  • Supporting EverGRO's retail division by safely delivering a variety of products to customers and other store locations including animal feed / nutrition / care items, farming supplies and farming products
  • Assists with loading & unloading deliveries and staging delivery trucks which may involve operating a forklift to move product safely & efficiently
  • Home every night local / rural routes; position can be based out of either EverGRO's Madison or Orange locations

    • WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

    This position will be tasked with the following key objectives :

  • Routes will predominantly be rural locations to local farms, vineyards, residents and business owners

    • Some positions will have the following work environment qualities.

  • This position will work both an indoor warehouse setting and working outdoors at times to assist with customer needs on deliveries, pick-ups, etc.

    No matter the position, EverGRO will always be looking for candidates that are :

    • For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

  • A high school diploma / GED equivalent
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B
  • Preferably able to operate a manual transmission
  • Prefer at least one year (1) of professional working experience, preferably in a delivery, warehouse or retail setting and preferably in the agriculture / farming industry
  • Experience and / or working knowledge of the agricultural industry and related products

    • Forklift Certification

  • Dedication to safety and compliance
  • A passion & enthusiasm to provide excellent customer service to our cooperative members
  • A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
