Position Summary
The Lead Nurse Practitioner (Michigan Market) is a full-time leadership role responsible for guiding, supporting, and optimizing the performance of WoundRx’s clinical team across the state of Michigan. This position focuses on clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes, ensuring that every patient interaction reflects our mission and standards of care. This role is ideal for an experienced advanced practice provider who excels in leadership, education, and quality improvement within value-based and mobile healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Nurse Practitioners (NPs) throughout the Michigan region.
- Provide ongoing education, performance feedback, and clinical support.
- Conduct 4-5 -days per week in the field for visibility, mentoring, or coverage.
- Oversee provider scheduling to maximize coverage, efficiency, and patient access.
- Analyze workflows and implement process improvements that enhance provider productivity and patient outcomes.
- Support MIPS-related recommendations and assist with EMR optimization and audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to CMS and internal compliance standards.
- Review and refine clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Design and deliver structured onboarding and training programs for new and existing NPs
- Educate providers on EMR functionality, documentation standards, and best practices in mobile wound care.
- Partner with executive and clinical leadership to align provider operations with organizational goals.
- Participate in system development initiatives to enhance data reporting, communication, and quality tracking.
Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan (required).Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in wound care, geriatrics, or post-acute settings.Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical or operational capacity.Strong understanding of EMR systems, MIPS metrics, and CMS compliance standards.Exceptional communication, organization, and mentoring skills.
