As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Rosemount, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a retail distribution environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and proactive approach allow you to assist visitors, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Working as part of a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, you will play a key role in supporting a people-first culture while upholding the highest standards of integrity at the retail location.

Mon 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail distribution location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity to the appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as directed.

Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and / or lockdowns according to protocol.

Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Complete daily activity and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow all site-specific post orders and instructions while working in various environments and conditions at the retail distribution center.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
