Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time permanent Inpatient Psychiatrist Physician. Highlights / Requirements

• Starting base salary : $260,000 - $300,000 per year
• Daily schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
• Provides overflow interpretation services to remote client locations.
• Interprets diagnostic digital radiography, CT, MRI and US examinations of the head, spine, neck, body, extremities and internal organs as appropriate.
• Accesses studies for interpretation through the VISN 16 Picture Archiving and Communications System(s) and reports findings electronically
• Protects printed and electronic files containing sensitive data
• Uses word processing software to execute several office automation functions
• Performs lab review, identifying abnormalities according to established guidelines.
• Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Preferred : Board certification or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Preferred : Cross Sectional Body Imaging preferred.
• Preferred : Sub-Specialty Board Certification.
