Your key responsibilities will include :
- Training and assisting stakeholders in the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
- Providing technical support throughout the data center lifecycle and addressing quarterly maintenance action items for BMS and EPMS.
- Developing scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and levels of effort for BMS and EPMS projects requested by stakeholders.
- Managing project execution, budget, and timelines for BMS and EPMS improvement initiatives within AWS data centers.
- Assisting in procurement activities, including preparing requests for proposals, reviewing vendor submissions, and issuing purchase orders.
- Participating in the global on-call schedule to provide immediate technical support for BMS and EPMS issues in operational data centers.
- Collaborating with project teams to support commissioning activities related to controls projects.
- Reviewing and improving the controls sequence of operation (SOO) and offering feedback to the design team.
- Developing and modifying control logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
- Managing multiple stakeholder deliverables while navigating complex situations.
- Financially managing BMS and EPMS service contracts.
- Regularly visiting in-operation data centers to troubleshoot issues, supervise vendor work, and ensure compliance with designs and local codes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments such as data centers or similar industries.4+ years of experience in project or vendor management related to construction and project execution.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Controls / Automation).Experience in designing and programming HVAC controls or Electrical SCADA systems.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols like MQTT, BACnet, and MODBUS.Understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and operating procedures.Ability to manage multiple deliverables and navigate challenges.Experience in designing data centers or critical MEP infrastructure.Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or certified Project Management Professional (PMP).Amazon is committed to equal employment opportunities and values an inclusive workplace culture. Our compensation reflects the labor market across various U.S. regions, with a salary range of $98,700 to $210,800. Pay is influenced by factors such as location, skills, and experience. Amazon is dedicated to providing comprehensive benefits and total compensation packages.
