We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Controller to join our team as a key advisor in our evolving SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance landscape. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in cross-functional environments, drives process improvement, and brings deep expertise in internal controls and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Collaboration : Partner across departments to support SOX readiness and continuous improvement of the SOX program.
• Subject Matter Expertise : Own assigned process areas, gaining deep knowledge of business activities, controls, policies, and external reporting guidelines.
• Risk & Control Design : Work with functional teams to assess current processes, identify risks, and design controls to mitigate exposure.
• Project & Process Assessment : Evaluate new initiatives and systems for SOX impact in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Compliance Testing : Lead process walkthroughs, Tests of Design (TOD), and Tests of Effectiveness (TOE) to ensure control compliance.
• Documentation Management : Maintain accurate SOX documentation, including flowcharts and control narratives.
• Planning & Scoping : Participate in annual and ongoing SOX planning to identify significant changes and adjust scope accordingly.
• Audit & Remediation : Analyze audit findings, identify control gaps, and coordinate remediation plans with stakeholders.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00 / yr. Nextracker offers a comprehensive benefits package.
