Optum NY is searching for exceptional Primary Care Physicians (FM or IM) to join our dedicated teams in beautiful clinics located in Poughkeepsie, Hopewell Junction, and Fishkill. Optum is a clinician-led care organization committed to transforming the way healthcare is delivered.

Position Highlights :

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care.
  • Treat chronic diseases and disorders with compassion.
  • Review patient records, including allergies, medical history, and medication status.
  • Order and conduct various tests and diagnostic analyses to assess patient's conditions.
  • Analyze test results to accurately diagnose conditions.

    Required Qualifications :

  • Unrestricted licensure in New York or currently applying for it.
  • Residency trained with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine and / or Internal Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain one prior to starting.
  • The salary range for New York residents is $256,997 to $364,843 per year, based on various factors including experience and achievement of performance metrics. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentives, and a 401k contribution, all subject to eligibility requirements.
