Acquisition Analyst, Sr.

Role

Provide direct support to the SIGINTIPT Leads by coordinating across other Lvl I and II IPTs,USN Fleet and CPPto ensure alignment of SIGINTobjectives as it relates to contract managementfor the Development, Production and Sustainment ofSIGINT HW / SW capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspectsrelated tothe SIGINT Contract Management. This includesconducting in-depth analysis of procurement needs, developing acquisition strategies,and monitoring contract executionin compliance with regulations,working closely with program personnel and contracting officers throughout the procurement process.
• Support requirements planning and execution across the SIGINT portfolio. This involves contract management of the 9 different OEMs and 12 other government activities (GSA, NIWC, NSA, NSWC Crane, Wallops, PMA-290, NAWCAD, NSMA, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, DLA, NUWC).
• Key responsibilities of a government acquisition analyst may include :
• Conduct market research with potential vendors, analyzing market trends, and determining the best approach to acquire required goods or services.
• Perform acquisition planning by developing detailed procurement plans, including statements of work, milestones, and budget estimates.
• Assist with proposal evaluations by reviewing vendor proposals, assessing technical capabilities, cost analysis, and identifying potential risks.
• Assist with contract negotiations by assisting CORs and contracting officers in negotiating contract terms and conditions with vendors.
• Assist with contract administration by monitoring contract performance, managing change orders, and resolving contract disputes.
• Assist with compliance oversight by ensuring adherence to government procurement regulations and policies.
• Assist with cost analysis by evaluating vendor pricing and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Data analysis : Utilizing data to identify trends and inform acquisition decisions.
• Stakeholder coordination : Communicating with program managers, legal counsel, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on acquisition strategies.

Minimum Requirements :

Compensation details : 140000-165000 Yearly Salary
