Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in an itinerant role. This position is based in Murfreesboro, TN, and is a contract for the uping school year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized services tailored to the needs of visually impaired students.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and needs.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers by creating appropriate instructional materials and support strategies.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students, with service frequency ranging from 1 to 3 times per week based on individual requirements.
