Operating Room Tech Job Details

Location : Lees Summit, Missouri 64063

Healthcare Setting : Main Operating Room (OR), Surgery Unit

Contract Duration : 12 weeks (October 27, 2025 – January 19, 2026)

Shift : 10-hour days, 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1580–$1700

On-Site Healthcare Position

Call Requirement : 2-6 days of call per month

Hospital-Provided Scrubs

OR Tech Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech); vascular surgery experience required

Certified Scrub Tech (CST) credential

Proficient in Meditech charting system

Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced surgical healthcare environment

Operating Room Technician Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures including Orthopedic, Spine, Vascular, General Surgery, Colorectal, Robotic, Gynecological (GYN), and ENT surgeries

Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and surgical supplies

Scrub in and support surgeons and healthcare staff during procedures

Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout all procedures

Accurately document surgical procedures using the Meditech healthcare system

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
