We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused onsite Membership Coordinator to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This long-term contract position involves extensive interaction with members and non-members, ensuring exceptional service and fostering positive relationships. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to engaging with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities :
- Build and nurture relationships with members and non-members through consistent outreach, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Handle inquiries with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Review, follow up on, and approve membership applications efficiently.
- Organize and participate in membership events, meetings, and related activities.
- Maintain and update the membership database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to manage annual dues, resignations, and membership category changes.
- Prepare detailed reports as needed to support organizational goals.
- Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to navigate databases effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism.
- A positive attitude and comfort in engaging with individuals at all levels, including members, employees, and executives.
- Proven ability to attract new members while maintaining strong relationships with current ones.
- Flexibility to attend membership events and meetings as required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
