We are looking for a skilled Payroll Representative to join our team in Goleta, California. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. Responsibilities :
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processes for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Coordinate payroll activities across multiple states, adhering to applicable regulations and compliance standards.
- Utilize payroll systems such as Workday and UKG Pro to manage employee records and payroll data.
- Implement and maintain Kronos timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance.
- Prepare detailed payroll reports and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align payroll processes with organizational policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive payroll information at all times.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize payroll operations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
- Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations.
- Previous experience managing payroll for over 500 employees.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as Workday and UKG Pro.
- Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping system.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
