Your Impact

Axon is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Equity Compensation to manage the day‑to‑day administration of the company’s equity plans, including our unique eXponential Stock Plan (XSP). The ideal candidate is thoroughly familiar with equity incentive plans (stock options, RSUs, PSUs) and has experience with international considerations and tax implications. The Senior Manager reports directly to the VP of Financial Reporting and Strategic Investments and interfaces extensively with People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Tax, and audit teams.

What You’ll Do

Reports to : VP of Financial Reporting and Strategic Investments

Work Location : Eligible to be based out of Axon’s U.S. hubs; hybrid schedule (in‑person Tuesdays–Friday, remote Mondays).

  • Manage end‑to‑end administration of equity plans, including reviewing grants, exercises, releases, cancellations, monthly reconciliations, and monitoring share utilization in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, People Ops, Tax, and Legal.
  • Partner on the evolution of the eXponential Stock Plan, an optional high‑risk, high‑reward employee plan.
  • Implement best practices with effective controls and automate workstreams for accurate, efficient equity data processing.
  • Maintain forecasting models for dilutive shares and assist with stock‑based compensation expense forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting, and People Ops on reporting stock compensation for employee income purposes, domestically and internationally.
  • Act as liaison between officers, employees, & brokers for 10b5‑1 trading plans and transactions.
  • Review Forms 3 & 4 to report Section 16 officer and director transactions in SEC filings.
  • Prepare financial statement footnote disclosures, reconcile balance sheet accounts related to common stock, additional paid‑in capital, and related employee taxes; prepare quarterly equity rollforward.
  • Perform additional duties and ad‑hoc projects as requested.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Stock Administration at a public company; strong Excel skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of equity awards and programs.
  • Understanding of accounting standards for equity compensation.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and detail orientation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
  • Acute attention to detail, excellent organization and time management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, uphold ethics and integrity.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
