About The Position

Job Title : Skilled Home Infusion Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : SN Service

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Experience : Minimum 3 years in pediatric infusion, ED, or PICU

License : Valid RN license in Maryland and Washington DC

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Excellent infusion skills, including placement of PIVs from newborn through young adult.

High tech skills in care and use of Central Venous Access Devices including PICCs, Infusaports, and Hickman.

Experience in administering infusions such as IVIG, Remicade, and Entyvio.

Epic experience.

Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Ability to effectively teach and communicate with individuals and families with varied social and cultural backgrounds without judgment.

Description :

Provides, coordinates, teaches, and supervises care for patients in their homes.

Must be able to provide skilled evaluation, treatment, and care for pediatric patients (newborn through young adults) in accordance with the scope of practice.

Home visit assignments will be provided.

Mileage reimbursement for distances over 25 miles per day will be offered.

A cell phone will be provided for work purposes.
