Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality ultrasound images while following established protocols and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Manage ultrasound equipment, demonstrating exceptional judgment and decision-making in complex diagnostic situations.
  • Perform all required computer operations and ensure accurate charge entries.
  • Provide courteous and professional patient care.
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and supply inventory.
  • Assist the radiology staff in administering medications and procedures.
  • Verify the technical accuracy of exams and manage quality control in PACS.
  • Support the Ultrasound Supervisor with PACS management and ongoing education.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding patient and employee information.
  • Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduate from a vocational school.
  • Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
