Travel Data Center Technician

Overview

We’re looking for a technician with strong hands-on data

center experience who can support large-scale hardware environments. This

role involves equipment handling, cable work, basic diagnostics, and following

established procedures for installation, maintenance, and decommissioning. This

position requires frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove, organize, and label network and power cabling during hardware changes or decommissioning activities.
• Run, stage, and secure new cabling according to documented standards.
• Perform equipment preparation, installation steps, basic startup/shutdown tasks, and component swaps using written procedures and checklists.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware issues under the direction of technicians or leads.
• Conduct physical audits of data center equipment and inventory.
• Follow safety, security, and operation guidelines at all times.
• Use standard productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, documentation platforms) to track work and update records.
• Monitor systems or tools for alerts and respond according to documentation workflows.
• Support testing or validation tasks as directed by engineering or operations teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
