Key Responsibilities of the Travel Ultrasound Technician

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following established imaging protocols

Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and procedural accuracy

Analyze images and provide accurate preliminary findings to physicians

Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety and quality standards

Accurately document procedures and maintain secure patient records

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care

Requirements of the Travel Ultrasound Technician

ARDMS certification (required)

BLS certification (required)

2+ years of ultrasound experience

Strong knowledge of sonographic imaging protocols, anatomy, and patient care
