Descripción del trabajoBachelor’s degree in civil / environmental engineering or a related geomorphology field 1–5 years of relevant professional experience (ideal for early-career professionals) Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil3D and hydrologic / hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively For engineers : Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or plans to obtain in the near future Experience with floodplain regulations is a plus Hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers, scientists, and project managers Opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and advancement toward licensure A supportive, collaborative culture built on integrity, innovation, and environmental stewardship Full-time position with a salary range of $70,000–$95,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and skills) Comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance, voluntary dental and vision plans, and a retirement plan Additional perks such as flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, profit sharing, and a quarterly discretionary bonus program Career development opportunities in a dynamic and challenging work environment
Job Description
At Wright Water Engineers (WWE), we’re passionate about improving rivers, watersheds, and communities through innovative water resource solutions. As a Water Resources Engineer or Geomorphologist, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on meaningful projects such as :
- Stream and river restoration
- Floodplain modeling and regulatory support
- Mud / debris flow analysis
- Fish passage and barrier design
- Stormwater design and watershed planning
- Ditch and diversion structure design
- Water quality evaluation and pond design
This is an opportunity to apply your skills in design, hydrology, and hydraulics while gaining experience on diverse projects that make a real impact.
