Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Conroe, TX for a Survey Crew Instrument Operator. The Survey Crew Instrument Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining survey equipment, working closely with the field crew to collect accurate measurements, and assisting in setting up and completing fieldwork projects. Key responsibilities include data collection, equipment calibration, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating survey instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
• Basic knowledge of land surveying principles, methods, and processes
• Experience reading and interpreting maps, blueprints, and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment and adapt to varying weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in land surveying or fieldwork is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in surveying is beneficial
