About the Role
Operate conventional equipment, special-purpose machines, and CNC machining centers to produce parts precisely to customer specifications. Multiple shift options are available : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications; evaluate sample parts to define dimensions, tolerances, sequences, and tooling changes (inserts, drills, etc.).
- Measure sample pieces to verify alignment with finishing specifications before and during runs.
- Start up, observe, and fine-tune machine operations; correct out-of-tolerance conditions and malfunctions using machine controls or control media.
- Perform inspection tasks and, when required, statistical analysis of processes to sustain quality levels.
- Support machine teardowns; confirm final part conformance to requirements.
- Partner with engineers, production personnel, programmers, and others to solve machining or assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workstation; take on other duties as assigned.
- Uphold attendance and punctuality standards : be consistently present and on time, ensure coverage when absent, and arrive at meetings / appointments promptly.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalence and / or at least 2 years of machining experience.Ability to read / interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Proficiency with calculators, computers, and technical references.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve practical problems within job scope.Ideal Traits
