Mid level required 5 years experience

Bachelor's Degree in Technical field / Computer Science, engineering

36-40 hours per week Based off Booz Allen yearly budget for contractors (Let clients know it is 36-40 hours flexible per week)

Must have lived in US for last 4 years

No travel longer than 90 consecutive days

Job Description :

Looking for a Mid Level Ruby on Rails Developer. 100% remote.

Ruby Developer must have experience in analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives. The developer must be able to create software in a variety of programming and for a variety of IT software applications.

You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You'll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in technical field or IT / Computer Science field is a must
• US C / GC work auth
• Experience with service orientation concepts and enabling technologies
• Experience with Software Development and Implementation
• Software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support
• Experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs.
• 5 years
• Experience using Agile methodologies, system architecture and object-oriented software design : Ruby on Rails, REST, SOAP Web Services, JavaScript, React, Redux, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL, postgres)
• 5 years (mid)
• Ability to obtain VA Medium-Background Investigation clearance
