✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a  Janitor at  San Pasqual Academy in  Escondido, California ✨

San Pasqual Academy is located on a beautiful 238 acres in rural San Pasqual Valley. SPA is equipped with all the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. On grounds sports and activities include basketball, softball, and football. Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills.

Pay : Starting at $19 an hour

What you will do : As the Janitor you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our offices, education facility, and residential dormitory. This includes cleaning hard and carpeted floors, walls, doors, windows, and furniture, as well as cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing garbage, and laundering the clothing and bedding of our residents

To be considered you should : Be at least 21 years of age ~ High School diploma or equivalent required~ If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver ~ Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry .

Schedule : Monday – Friday ~ 6a - 3p
