Responsibilities : RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Operates ultrasound equip to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital based training program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Four (4) years of experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :

ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties. (Does not include RVT)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

BLS certified.

Registered ARDMS and / or RVS / RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
