  • Location : Denver, Colorado 80218\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Transplant / Stepdown Unit (PCU)\n
  • Assignment Start Date : December 15, 2025\n
  • Assignment End Date : March 16, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Weekly Hours : 36\n
  • Unit Size : 34 beds\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 3-4\n
  • EMR System : Meditech\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570 per week\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry nursing experience\n
  • Proficiency with Heparin infusions and PCA pump management\n
  • BLS certification (AHA required)\n
  • Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills\n
  • Ability to excel in a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare environment\n
  • Preferred : Stepdown / PCU nursing experience and solid organ transplant care (kidney, liver, pancreas)\n

    • \n\nPCU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU / Stepdown patients, including post-transplant patients\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications and manage infusions\n
  • Perform wound and drain care (wound vac, chest tube, JP drains)\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Accurately document care in Meditech electronic medical records\n
  • Mentor and support patient care technicians and clinical support staff\n
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive healthcare environment\n
