Fully on-site, no travel.
Responsible for creating, programming, and starting up control systems for a manufacturing facility in the Indianapolis area. Involved in introducing new technologies and supporting both innovation-driven and capital investment projects.
Core Duties :
Design and fine-tune electrical control circuits, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Build and test software for PLCs, HMIs, and other automation platforms.
Oversee commissioning activities, ensuring proper system installation and reliable operation.
Work hand-in-hand with the client to confirm all technical needs and project specifications are fully met.
Coordinate multiple projects at once, keeping them on schedule and within allocated budgets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing consistent communication and support.
Deliver technical service and troubleshooting when required.
Keep all project records and documentation up-to-date and accurate.
Preferred Background :
Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial automation systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, EPlan, or comparable electrical design tools.
Solid understanding of electrical standards (NEC, ANSI, UL, etc.).
Knowledge of designing safety circuits for industrial machinery.
Highly motivated and eager to grow professionally in a technical environment.
At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
