Job Summary
GateWay Community College is looking for an Enrollment Agent in Admissions & Records! You must be FWS eligible to apply for this position. Job duties include:
- Assist students, staff, and faculty by phone, email, chat and text messaging with A&R procedures and policies
- Provides support for Enrollment Services at the front counter and welcome desk including placement in virtual queues and assisting with self-service computer stations
- Assist in the admission and course registration for students
- Calculate student tuition and process payment
- Inform students of drop/withdrawal processes
- Process incoming/outgoing transcript requests
- Inform inquirers of domicile policies and acceptable documentation
- Guide students, staff, and faculty through Student Center functionalities
- Schedule academic advisor appointments
- Code and enter data into permanent student records
- Assist with A&R back office processing when needed

In order to qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements. Please for more information prior to applying to a Federal Work-Study job.
- FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
- FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
- FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
- The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be a GateWay Community College student registered for 6 or more credit hours and received financial aid eligibility.
