Description

PURPLE is looking for an experienced Account Manager for its Fashion division to join the agency. This role supports the assigned Account Director in developing and executing activities to generate maximum brand exposure through creative product placement, profile features and launches. The Account Manager should have a genuine passion for developing brands, take initiative, and possess impeccable client liaison skills with an established network of key contacts (brands and press).

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Account Director, increase awareness for all brands assigned to them and promote clients in all activities, campaigns, special projects, shows, presentations and events to the media
• Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and media within assigned markets, acting as an ambassador for PURPLE
• Navigate partnership and collaboration opportunities
• Lead event logistics support
• Oversee development of weekly and monthly media reports for clients
• Support Account Directors on communications with all clients, building trust and credibility
• Manage product-related media requests from inquiry to coverage
• General media monitoring across clients and competitors
• Produce high-quality internal and external communications content
• Oversee weekly client agendas and proactively pitch story ideas for editorial placement
• Manage and motivate junior team members to ensure smooth operations and PR results
• Support Account Directors and senior team members to ensure maximum coverage across levels
• Understand paid, owned and earned media strategies and develop relationships with top influencers
• Maintain strong editorial contacts in the UK and Europe
• Manage Junior Account Executive / Account Executive to achieve targets
• Contribute to agency new business efforts through proposals and pitches
