Overview :

We're seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join a high-performing team supporting institutional investors in securities litigation matters. This role involves analyzing investment data, calculating financial losses, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of large datasets. The ideal candidate will combine financial expertise with strong analytical and technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of Financial Data Analyst :

Manage client onboarding, including coordinating with custodial banks to access portfolio data and historical transactions.

Review, clean, and format financial data for accuracy and completeness before integration into proprietary databases.

Calculate damages and financial losses using established methodologies.

Conduct company and market research to support ongoing and potential litigation cases.

Utilize Bloomberg and internal databases to extract and analyze security-specific information.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate progress, findings, and data insights.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and data quality enhancement.

Qualifications of Financial Data Analyst :

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

3+ years of relevant experience in financial data analysis or a similar role.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.

Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Python, SQL, or C++ a plus.

Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to learning and process optimization.
