Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Pump Installer based in Colton, CA. The Pump Installer will be responsible for daily field work, driving and operating company equipment, installing, maintaining, and repairing pump systems. Key tasks include ability to work independently, CDL reporting, assembling pump components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of pump systems. Some tasks may require remote work within California..

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pump rigs and support equipment with proficiency and safety.
• Chemical installation for well rehabilitation
• Install, remove, inspect, and service all types of water pumps and associated systems.
• Conduct well rehabilitation using wire brushing, bailing, swabbing, and airlifting methods.
• Diagnose pump problems using mechanical expertise and hydraulics knowledge.
• Perform three-phase electrical disconnects and reconnections of pump motors.
• Maintain tools, rigs, and job site safety compliance at all times.
• Train and supervise crew members while fostering teamwork and safety.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and clients.
• Keep accurate daily logs, worksheets, and post-project reviews.
• Provide input on pump inspections, repairs, and maintenance planning.
