• 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab
• Experience with emergency medications and invasive cardiac procedures
• Travel experience preferred

Description :

The role involves providing care in the cardiac catheterization lab.

The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs before, during, and after procedures.

They will monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary.

The candidate should be proficient in various cardiac procedures including stent placements and catheterizations.

Conscious sedation and ventilator management experience are required.

The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

On-call duties include one weekday and one weekend day every 4-6 weeks, including holidays.

Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills.

Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond according to protocols is essential.

Knowledge of and adherence to infection prevention protocols is expected.

The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.

Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.

Professionalism and strong communication skills are essential in this role.
