We are looking for a Regional Field Engineering Manager to oversee and coordinate field engineering operations across multiple locations within a designated region. This role involves managing teams of field engineers, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects, and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in field engineering, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include planning and allocating resources, monitoring project progress, troubleshooting technical issues, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
The Regional Field Engineering Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing best practices, training and mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage regional field engineering teams.
- Lead and manage regional field engineering vendors and partners.
- Plan and allocate resources for field projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and implement engineering best practices.
- Train and mentor field engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify adherence to our technology standards, field technician effectiveness, equipment setup, and user experience meet defined guidelines.
- Collaborate with school leaders to reinforce standards and address gaps with practical, empathetic solutions.
- Ensure operational readiness of all technology systems across assigned schools, including hardware, software, networking, and security devices.
- Respond quickly and professionally to all escalations from school leadership, providing support during and outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Oversee external service providers to ensure compliance with contracts, timelines, and brand expectations.
- Provide actionable feedback based on site visits and system data to support equipment lifecycle planning and procurement.
- Support IT leadership with seasonal forecasts and insights drawn from direct field interactions.
- Use help desk and ticketing systems to log support activities, trends, and team performance.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years experience in field engineering.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel frequently within the region.Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proactive and self-motivated attitude.Experience in educational or school-based environments preferred.High emotional intelligence and situational awareness when working with school leaders and staff.Willingness to travel overnight (up to 25%) and adapt work hours based on school site needs.Able to lift 50 lbs. and meet physical demands of school site work.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
