Lyons Company a Fidelity Company is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Bowling Green KY - focused on expanding our HVAC Service and Preventive Maintenance contract business.
In this role youll be at the forefront of identifying and developing new opportunities nurturing strong customer relationships delivering tailored proposals and driving revenue growth for our HVAC service offerings. Youll help shape our market presence and build long-term partnerships that move our business forward.
What Youll Bring :
Demonstrated success in business development or sales within the commercial HVAC industry (or a closely related field).
Strong understanding of HVAC systems service contracts and project-based solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
Confident negotiation and closing abilities.
Self-motivated mindset with a passion for exceeding goals.
Proficiency with CRM platforms Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
What Youll Do :
Identify research and engage prospective customers to generate new business and repeat opportunities.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including general contractors property managers facility managers and building owners across industrial and commercial markets.
Connect with potential clients through networking events cold calls email outreach and in-person visits.
Drive new Service Contract Agreements and related service sales within the LMS territory.
Visit customer sites to evaluate service needs and scope project pricing.
Present proposals negotiate terms and close HVAC service contracts and project agreements.
Maintain accurate sales activity and customer records in the CRM system.
Follow up on new and aging service quotes to secure client commitments.
Stay informed on industry trends competitor movements and market shifts to uncover new opportunities.
Provide management with regular updates on sales progress market intelligence and new areas for growth.
Collaborate closely with Operations Managers Project Managers and field teams to ensure smooth post-sale execution.
Lead kickoff meetings to transition projects seamlessly from Sales to Operations.
Share insights from the field that help elevate service quality and customer experience.
