The Job : As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll be part of our Product Service Division working as an on-site employee. You'll get to :

• Utilize your knowledge of SB&D shipping procedures to verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments at the Service Center.
• Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records.
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages.
• Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages.
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both at the counter and via phone.
• Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally.
• Strive to achieve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) goals set for the center by the division.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
• Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into the computer system to acknowledge receipt of goods in the purchase order and processing database.
• Assist at the front counter during CSR breaks and peak hours as needed.
