As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a food and beverage location. Your role will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will interact regularly with the public, provide excellent customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the restaurant and around the perimeter of the location, to help to deter unwanted activity and enhance the overall security-related presence. Maintain a visible and approachable security-related presence while interacting with staff and patrons in a food and beverage environment. Monitor premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies and the specific requirements of the location. Operate communication devices and security-related equipment to support patrol and response duties. Minimum Requirements : Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
