Senior Engineer Industrialization Closures LATAM

As part of the Global Engineering Support team, the Senior Engineer Industrialization will drive the implementation of industrial strategy through promotion of industrial standards and blueprints across Closures' sites in LATAM. As a recognized Key Subject Matter, the Senior Engineer Industrialization will actively support the sites in managing all industrialization projects such as revamping, production line relocation, capacity increase for existing products. The role will support the technological innovation, creating and animating a network among the site engineering, optimizing manufacturing processes and providing active support to strategic projects.
Main responsibilities include :
- Promote and maintain a safety culture in Engineering and Industrialization activities, on top of legal requirements (UL / CE regulatory)
- Contribute to the design and deployment of an appropriate Industrial Strategy
- Active support to site engineering and direct participation to the key eng / ind projects, and technology transfer
- Promote technology innovation i.e. new technologies and suppliers scouting, new technologies test, explore I4.0 initiatives.
- Support Capex optimization
- Participate to teamwork and network in the Region : share the best practice for each of the technologies and support high level problem solving.
- Contribute to high level cost saving and improve quality initiatives
Locations :
LATAM : Brazil (Maringa), Mexico (Queretaro) or any other country in the region where Aptar has a legal entity i.e. Argentina, Colombia. Remote office possible. Availability to travel on regular basis to support projects on site and visit suppliers.Job Requirements :
Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.Seasoned experience in Industrialization / engineering for assembly / automation in high productivity plastic industry (packaging, healthcare, consumer goods, electronics, etc). A complementary competence in molding process would be highly appreciated.Fluent in English. A second language would be an advantage i.e. Portuguese if Spanish mother-tongue and vice versaProject management skills with a track record of handling complex projectsResult orientated and structured way of workingAbility to adapt to multi-cultural organizations and teamProven management, communication, and technical capabilitiesCapability to adapt and manage effectively in fast paced changing environmentGood interpersonal, problem-solving and continuous improvement skillsAbility to build strong relationships internally and externally (customers, suppliers, stakeholders, networking)What We Offer :
