Shifts : Full-Time Opening - M thru F plus emergency on-call coverage Wage : $24-29 / Hourly

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment of a senior living community. Duties include :

• Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
• Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
• Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
• Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
• Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
• Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.

Required Qualification : Class C Boiler Operator's License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire At least 1 year of experience maintenance in a multi-unit apartment or senior living community. Current Driver's License (in good standing) High School Diploma or equivalent, formal vocational / technical degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience in health care setting is preferred.
