- Position Description
- Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital in sunny Long Beach, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time BC / BE Neonatologist to join their renowned Regional Level IV NICU team . This permanent, full-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide advanced neonatal care in a collaborative and academic environment affiliated with University of California Irvine and Children’s Hospital of Orange County .
- Responsibilities :
- Deliver expert care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU (average daily census : 55 | ~1,400 annual admissions).
- Collaborate with MFM, OB hospitalists, and pediatric subspecialists, including a nationally recognized cardiovascular program.
- Provide advanced neonatal services : neonatal & maternal transport, whole-body cooling, nitric oxide therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and specialized Small Baby Unit .
- Participate in CQI programs, teaching initiatives, and academic activities with UC Irvine and CHOC.
