Overview

We are partnered with a company focused on helping communities manage and recycle waste in environmentally responsible ways. They provide services to homes, businesses, contractors, and municipalities, offering solutions for recycling, composting, and waste collection.

Director of Engineering

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects from planning and design through commissioning
  • Oversee bidding, contracting, and procurement
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Champion safety, quality, and innovation
  • Manage contracts, compliance, and documentation
  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Provide strategic oversight to support the company\'s growth

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10+ years in engineering leadership, construction, or capital projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction, codes, and regulations
  • Proven success in delivering large, complex projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout California
