Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN (Neurotrauma Stepdown)

Descripción del trabajoWork on a Med / Surg Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center Care for patients on a surgical neuro trauma care unit with a wide variety of medical needs Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 4-6 Shift is 12-hour days from 7 : 00 to 19 : 30 Assignment length is 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week Must work every other weekend Floating may be required within hospital and to an affiliate facility (West Valley Hospital) Unit uses Epic charting and Epic experience is required Royal blue scrubs are required Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse surgical neurotrauma patient population Must complete required modules pre-start and annually; modules are non-billable and up to 8 hours COVID vaccination required; exemptions not accepted Strict RTO policy : all time off must be submitted at time of application and cannot be modified after submission Local candidates are accepted at the same rates as travelers First time travelers are not accepted for this position Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to travel Parking is free on site Active OR RN license required; pending is accepted at time of submission BLS certification through the American Heart Association Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in MS / Tele / PCU; surgical neuro trauma stepdown and NIHSS certification preferred Experience managing telemetry, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and managing dysrhythmias Proficiency with O2 protocol, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions / PPE Experience with cardiac drips such as nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone, Nicardipine, and other IMCU gtts Rapid response team activation experience required Must have documented Epic charting experience 18 months of recent Med / Surg Tele experience strongly preferred Must have some type of Telemetry experience High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
