Benefits Specialist – TSG Corporate – Remote
The Select Group is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering the organization’s employee benefits programs. This role involves working closely with benefits vendors and providers, ensuring effective communication and support for employees, and evaluating and improving benefit offerings.

Requirements:
- Approximately 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations (., ERISA, COBRA, ACA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, HRIS, and benefits administration software.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration: Oversee daily operations of group benefits (health, dental, vision, disability). Process life events, enrollments, and terminations accurately and timely. Conduct regular audits of benefits enrollments and deductions. Maintain up-to-date benefits records and documents.
- Vendor and Provider Management: Act as primary contact for benefits vendors and third-party administrators. Coordinate open enrollment and plan changes. Resolve issues with benefits providers promptly. Reconcile vendor billing for accuracy.
- Employee Communications and Support: Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and coverage. Distribute benefits information, including enrollment instructions. Organize educational programs on benefits options. Assist employees with the enrollment process.
- Retirement Plan Management: Administer the 401k plan. Ensure compliance with regulations (., ERISA, IRS). Perform IRS-required testing and plan audits. Provide information and support on retirement plan options.
- Benefits Evaluation and Improvement: Review and analyze benefits programs for competitiveness and effectiveness. Recommend enhancements to benefit offerings. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
