Job Summary
Estrella Mountain Community College is hiring Physics adjunct faculty to teach day and evening in-person physics classes at our Avondale campus.
Essential Functions
Instructs a diverse population of students in both lecture and lab settings. Uses active learning, student-centered teaching strategies to engage students and promote student success.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree or higher in one of the following fields: Physics or any degree under the auspices of the physics department of the granting university
OR
Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate-level credits in these prefixes/subjects: PHY, PHS, or IC discretion
OR
Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate-level credits in courses with these keywords: Any course containing Physics in its title, Physical Science, Circuits, Mechanics, Condensed Matter, Astronomy, Cosmology, Electrodynamics, Electrostatics, Fluids, Gravity, Interference, Magnetism, Material Science, Optics, Nanotechnology, Dynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, Sound, Spectroscopy, Thermodynamics, Waves, or IC discretion
Special Working Conditions
