IT Project Manager - Global Microsoft Purview DLP Implementation

Work Schedule : Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) 2 days remote

Salary : $140K, Based on experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the global rollout of Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across multiple regions and workloads. This role will ensure sensitive data is protected in compliance with GDPR, PII, PCI, and ISO 27001 Annex A controls, while enabling productivity for a diverse global workforce.

• Own the global Purview DLP implementation roadmap, including scope, milestones, and risk management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Security, Compliance, IT Infrastructure, Business Units) across regions.
• Design and deploy DLP policies for Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with GDPR, PII and PCI requirements.
• Integrate Purview DLP alerts with SIEM / SOAR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel) for incident response.
• Manage change enablement using ITIL practices for policy releases and user adoption.
• Develop training and communication plans for global end-user awareness.
• Track KPIs (coverage %, false-positive rate, incident response times) and drive continuous improvement.
