Radiology Tech

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Operates Radiographic equipment to produce radiographs (xrays), under the general direction of the Supervisor / Imaging Director. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement and the use of ingenuity and initiative. Ensures safe operation and care of Radiology equipment and exposure of patients to radiation for diagnostic information.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

American Registry Of Rad Techs (CT ARRT)

BLS (AHA) required

Radiologic Health Flouroscopy (RG RHT)

Radiology Technologist (CT RTT)

Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred CRT

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
