Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistant or a Certified Nursing Assistant. As a Personal Care Assistant or a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Escort clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a caregiver or personal care assistant is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Patience and compassion
- Ability to lift and move clients safely if required
