Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic - $115 to $140 per hour in Charlotte, NC

Cardiovascular Surgery PA / NP - No Call Assignment in North Carolina We have an ongoing locums assignment for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in cardiovascular surgery available in North Carolina. This inpatient role offers a consistent block schedule and excellent support. Practice Setting Inpatient cardiovascular surgery service Manage 8-14 adult patients per shift Support from RNs, MAs, and 3 other APPs Minimal solo coverage assignment Schedule Consistent 7-on / 7-off block scheduling No call requirements Ongoing assignment for a long-term need Procedures and Cases Focused on cardiac and thoracic surgery patients Inpatient rounding, consults, admissions / discharges Procedures : removal of chest tubes and bedside pleurodesis Requirements Active North Carolina license required Must have 24 months of experience Active ACLS and BLS certifications Credentialing Requirements Credentialing timeframe is 90 days Requires active NC license and DEA in hand to start Travel Accommodations Travel and lodging provided Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included Interested in learning more about this opportunity?
