Director, Industry Standards

Establish industry standards for the payments industry, including standards around product technology, devices, and users that leverage the product. Roles in this family focus on driving the market toward using common payments technology in a secure fashion that protects Mastercard revenue streams and reputation.

Responsibilities include :

• Representing Mastercard on key industry standards bodies
• Driving industry standards awareness and education through demonstrated thought leadership
• Executing programs and processes to ensure collaboration with key industry stakeholders
• Driving involvement in standards creation and refinement from key internal and external stakeholders
• Providing security considerations for products both internally and through business partner relationships
• Managing product and standards programs with global stakeholders

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
