Position Summary

Shift : Day Shift, 15 hours per week

Join a mission-driven team where your social work skills make a measurable impact. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will provide direct psychosocial support and care coordination to a select caseload of patients and families. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, identifying challenges, developing care plans, and facilitating referrals to ensure continuity of care. You'll work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to improved patient outcomes and organizational success. Flexibility is essential, as you will also provide coverage during staff absences, vacancies, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications and Competencies

Education

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution

Knowledge

Deep understanding of biopsychosocial and cultural aspects of clinical social work

Familiarity with health care systems, procedures, and organizational dynamics

Strong knowledge of local and community-based resources

Awareness of current issues and trends in health care delivery

Ability to collect, assess, and synthesize clinical data to inform care decisions

Skills

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in clinical social work within mental health and health care settings

Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans

Ability to recognize systemic challenges and offer solutions to improve care delivery

Licensure / Certification

Must hold a current LGSW license from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners

Exceptions may apply for out-of-state licensure or pending licensure if the candidate meets specific Board requirements

Experience

Minimum of one year of clinical social work experience (internship experience may be considered), preferably in a health care or mental health setting

Salary Range : Minimum 34.11 / hour - Maximum 56.34 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
