Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist (EM, Ancillary and Rehab).

Key Responsibilities

Accurately code evaluation and management, lab, radiology, and rehab services

Maintain daily records including Masterlog of accounts coded and Time Allocation reports

Identify trends and potential issues, reporting findings to the Coding manager

Required Qualifications

Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT coding, and modifiers

Familiarity with outpatient facility ancillary or clinic services coding

Experience with Cerner and / or Meditech systems

Knowledge of Medicare Administrative Contractors and billing guidelines

Ability to work in a high-stress environment with multiple deadlines
