A company is looking for an Inpatient Facility Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Provide coding services for various specialties, ensuring accurate coding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes

Analyze medical records for appropriate code assignment and recognize critical care cases

Maintain quality and productivity standards while communicating professionally with clients

Required Qualifications

Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory

A minimum of 2 years of coding experience is required

Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems is necessary

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential

Must maintain ongoing productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
