Responsibilities Position is in a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital setting Covers both adult and pediatric patients requiring a wide spectrum of radiology exams Daily census averages 25-30 patients from ED, ICUs, inpatient units, and outpatient referrals Department uses 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Cannon bi-plane imaging systems EPIC EMR is utilized in the department No floating to other units is required Assignments available on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts or weekends, based on contractual staffing needs On-call responsibilities rotate fairly among all technologists—including travelers—based on team size Holiday coverage participation required unless approved off in advance 13-week contracts with consistent shift and schedule based on agreement Primary duties include performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures for diverse inpatient and outpatient populations Support provided by dedicated lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager Team includes technologists with a broad range of experience from recent grads to long-tenure staff Five-day departmental orientation provided and adjusted to traveler needs Scrub color for technologists is black Free teammate parking is available Department culture emphasizes teamwork and high clinical competency Manager approval required for requested time off First-time travelers are accepted for this position Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required Experience with both adult and pediatric imaging in acute care or trauma settings strongly preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude desired Experience working with EPIC EMR preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626068.
